Each door can be standalone or tied into a wider network for up to 128 doors over multiple sites, at the foundation of any Smart.Net installation all you need is a controller with reader, take-on admin kit, power and an adapter to connect directly to your pc via USB or IP. This will form the basis of the Smart.Net kit – for each installation you will only require 1 of these parts.
Our access control can connect to virtually any locking solution which we supply in handy packs such as a mortise strike or rim release. Internal or external maglock pack, Cisa or existing Gate automation via the relay on the controller. Each individual door can then be daisy chained to the rest to provide a completely networked solution.
Maintenance & Management
Smart.net-IP Access Control is a fully distributed intelligence system, meaning that all changes and system configurations made are stored locally at the door or entrance control unit giving full door access control online or offline.
Each single door or entrance may have 1 or 2 card readers to fully manage who is coming and going from the building which can also be used for time and attendance to support payroll for businesses giving accurate reports for clocking in and out and restricting access to certain areas depending on their access levels or department they are associated with.
The PC is usually located on site if managing a single building or over the internet if managing multiple site remotely. Using the private cloud-based web server you can also view this from any smart device from phones to laptops virtually anything with a web browser.
Support and software is free
We support out Smart.Net-IP installers with lifetime fully featured software downloads free of charge and access to as much support as you need to get your installation up and running.
